I’m compelled by the belief that every individual should have what they need to thrive regardless of their skin color, neighborhood, or abilities. I feel deeply committed to intentionally dismantling the systems, practices, policies, and over time, mindsets, that perpetuate racism and other inequities. It’s critical that this work be done as a collective — where those most impacted by structural racial inequity are meaningfully involved in the creation and implementation of solutions. Future generations deserve better.
