I am compelled by my faith and commitment to ensuring that young people (especially those in the most historically under-resourced communities) can access all of the opportunities and resources they need to choose the life that THEY want. This vision guides me, and I am clear that racial equity and social justice work must be centered when seeking solutions to alleviate the barriers that young people face as they work to achieve their goals. To achieve liberation of humanity from the ills of inequity, we must engage in the pursuit of justice and equity at all costs.
