At the Equity Lab,
we help
disrupt systems that perpetuate racism and oppression.

We’re taking on the nation’s biggest challenges of individual, institutional, and systemic inequity.

The Equity Lab seeks to disrupt racial and ethnic inequity by engaging organizations in issues of race, equity, diversity, and inclusion (REDI).

Our signature fellowships and long-term engagements help individuals and organizations to develop a deep understanding of their own identities and the historical and cultural contexts in which we all operate. Through our relationships, our partners become agents of progress in their personal and professional spheres.

We Help Social Change Leaders Become Catalysts for Systemic Change

At the Equity Lab, we believe that equity begins within.

By operationalizing equity in both personal and organizational practices, leaders can disrupt the systems that perpetuate racism and oppression.

THE NEXUS FELLOWSHIP

The Nexus Fellowship is a yearlong program that empowers leaders to drive lasting organizational change in race and equity through a personalized leadership journey focused on identity and three design challenges: people, processes, and programs.

THE SEEDING DISRUPTION FELLOWSHIP

Seeding Disruption is a 13-month Washington, DC-based fellowship that empowers educators and youth professionals to use equity-driven design thinking to tackle systemic racial inequities and build a diverse community of equity leaders.

CUSTOM ENGAGEMENTS

The Equity Lab’s Custom Engagements empower organizations to become anti-racist through education and training in leadership development, policy revision, and team alignment.

I've started speaking up in a way that I wouldn't have been able to had it not been for the fellowship -- the coaching, the content, the convenings. I can't thank you all enough.
