Jennifer Niles

Jennifer Niles is currently an entrepreneur-in-residence at CityBridge, where she is working to identify, design, and scale the best solutions to the job/skills mismatch faced by students in the local economy. Jennie previously served as the Deputy Mayor for Education in DC. In that role, she was responsible for leading the Mayor's vision of ensuring that all our students in every Ward and from every background receive a world-class public education, providing oversight and guidance to the key city agencies responsible for education (DCPS, OSSE, DPR, UDC, DCPL, PCSB, and PCS), and functioning as the "air traffic controller" of education policy in the District in collaboration with the DC Council. Prior to her role as DME, Jennie founded and was the Head of School at E.L. Haynes Public Charter School located in Wards 1 and 4 .
