Cassandra Sanchez

Cassandra is the founder and principal consultant at Purposeful Disruption LLC. She previously worked for Leadership for Educational Equity (LEE) as the Regional Director for the National Capital Region. She is a first-generation American who grew up in a bilingual Spanish/English household that stressed the importance of education. Cassandra brings years of experience in both rural and urban communities with a focus on being a bridge builder and access point for underrepresented people. She has worked with unaccompanied minors in Chicago and Miami, immigrant communities in rural Idaho, and with DC Public Schools. She and her partner, along with their three dogs, Dapper Dan, Huckleberry Finn, and Angel are proud DC residents.
