The Equity Lab offers custom engagements that are designed to meet the needs of organizations & leaders that are ready and committed to becoming anti-racist but are unsure of how to get there.

Through thoughtful collaboration with leadership and a steering committee, organizations will transform. The Equity Lab will focus on individual growth, revision of policies and procedures with an equity lens, and team-level alignment to an organization-wide vision for equity.

  • Embark on a transformative journey with our Humanizing Leadership Series, designed to cultivate empathetic and effective leadership. This program delves into the core principles of compassionate leadership, fostering an environment where leaders can inspire, engage, and lead with authenticity.

  • A series of critical, topic-based 4-hour sessions curated to meet the needs of the organization and presented virtually to staff with the choice of two dates/times per module.

  • Elevate your organization’s retreat experience with our customized facilitation and support services, tailored specifically for advancing your equity efforts, offering workshops, discussions, and resources crafted to ignite meaningful progress.

  • Elevate your leadership skills through personalized coaching sessions tailored to your unique needs. Our experienced coaches provide one-on-one and group coaching, equipping you with the tools and insights to navigate complex challenges and enhance your leadership.

  • The Equity Lab team can support the creation or continuation of your Caucusing & Affinity Groups, engaging in meaningful conversations that are important to your staff and your broader impact. These groups provide a supportive space for networking, collaboration, and knowledge exchange, fostering a sense of community within your organization.

  • TILT is an on-demand, 30-minute leadership assessment for any organization that wants to create a better, more inclusive workplace. Leaders and staff in any grouping will take the assessment and receive a custom, individualized TILT report, including a deep analysis of strengths and growth areas along with practical, differentiated, and asynchronous resources and exercises to help catalyze change.

  • The Equity Lab will work closely with executive leadership and project leads to set organization-level goals. Project Leads will have check-in calls with The Equity Lab to address current issues, plan engagement activities that meet staff where they are, and prepare the organization to lead work from within.

  • The Nexus Organizational Accelerator is a personalized leadership program that prioritizes equity, deliberately combining the best in leadership, equity, and management training. We only focus on providing leaders with the highest leverage tools, not adding more work to an organization’s to-do list. By the end of the fellowship, fellows and your organization will have achieved tangible progress toward advancing equity.

  • The Equity Lab can support the launch and development of a DEI Committee or REDI (Race, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) Change Team meant to drive key efforts forward regarding race, equity, diversity, and inclusion. Members meet monthly to provide thoughtful feedback, participate in the decision making process, and take critical actions to embed equity into the organization.

  • The Equity Lab can conduct focus group sessions with staff, community members, and board members as requested. Organizations will receive a consolidated summary of highlighted themes and recommendations to serve as a starting point in determining high priority needs and to support decision making.
