However, we know that poor children, and children of color benefit greatly when given these same opportunities. We are compelled to equity work, especially when working with systems leaders to design high-quality performance assessment systems that result in equitable outcomes for students, because it helps America fulfill its promise. And it’s what ALL students deserve.”
