Marti Tesfaye

As a black woman, an attorney, the daughter of African immigrants, a product of the U.S. public education system, and a mother of three young black children, I know that racial inequities and social injustices are omnipresent throughout this country (and more broadly, throughout the world). I also know just how much change is possible when a group of committed people advocate for it. That is why I am thrilled to join the next cohort of Nexus leaders. I look forward to working in partnership with this cohort to learn, grow, co-create, and implement strategies that will disrupt and dismantle systemic injustices within our organizations and in partnership with the communities we serve.
