Rachel Tetteh
My commitment to centering students at the margins and championing racial equity and social justice work is deeply rooted in my identity as a Black woman. If we apply a racial equity lens when designing educational experiences, the K-12 journey can be reimagined as a transformative experience that equips black and brown youth with the necessary tools to thrive as their authentic selves. When we design at the margins, we innovate and foster equitable outcomes that challenge the norm, create systems that work for everyone, and move toward becoming an anti-racist society for future generations.
