Thanks to the courage and resilience of many colleagues and friends, I have come to realize the harm my advantaged beliefs and behaviors have caused numerous humans with marginalized identities. As a result, I am committed to working every day to make amends and hold accountable those who also benefit from a system built on power and oppression. Though true liberation may not be possible in my lifetime - today's ripples are tomorrow's waves.
