Celene Domitrovich

Celene Domitrovich is the Director of Research and Innovation for the Early Childhood Innovation Network (ECIN) at Georgetown University. This 5-year initiative funded by the Marriott Foundation is designed to develop interventions that reduce toxic stress for families with young children in Washington DC. Dr. Domitrovich is a member of the faculty at Georgetown University. Her research interests are in resilience in young children and risk and protective factors across the lifespan. Her intervention work has primarily focused on fostering children’s social and emotional competence in preschool and elementary schools, but her intervention work is expanding to other service sectors including primary care and community-based settings with place-based strategies. Dr. Domitrovich has published in peer-reviewed journals and written several federal reports on evidence-based interventions and implementation.
