Kim Zablud

Kim Zablud joined DC Public Library in 2009. She has held several roles at the library, including Special Collections Manager, Head of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial (Central) Library, and now Director of Public Services overseeing MLK and the 25 neighborhood libraries. Kim has an MLIS from Rutgers University and a BA from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota. She is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has a Masters Certificate in Non-Profit Management from the American University’s School of Public Affairs. Kim loves projects and would gladly bend your ear about initiatives such as the Memory Lab Network, DC By the Book, People & Stories, and renovation of the historic MLK Library. She is the proud mom to a six-year-old boy who makes her laugh at least 20 times every day.
