Amanda Delabar

I am the principal of Tubman Elementary serving a diverse community. I have worked in DCPS for 10 years, 6 of which have been at Tubman as principal. I was a teacher in Texas for both traditional public schools as well as KIPP. I was an instructional coach and ESL coordinator in Texas as well. I studied Education Policy and Management at Harvard and was lucky enough to find my calling of school leadership. I am originally form St. Louis, Missouri and attended the University of Missouri for my undergraduate studies in Political Science and Communications. I am also a gardener, yogi and cook when not principaling.
