Catherine Peretti

Cat Peretti is the Executive Director of My School DC, the District of Columbia’s common application and lottery program for public schools. She has experience in education policy at the federal, state and local levels. Cat formerly served as the policy director for E.L. Haynes Public Charter School working on student information systems, data driven decision making in the classroom, and initiatives to share practices among charter and traditional schools. Previously, she was a management and program analyst at the U.S. Department of Education. Cat is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the Emory University School of Law, and she’s the proud mom of two.
