Julia DeAngelo
Julia DeAngelo is a Program Manager of School Strategies at Children’s National Child Health Advocacy Institute. She works closely with Children's National staff to plan, implement, evaluate and sustain data-driven school-connected programs in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. In addition, she supports advocacy and population health improvement efforts, including the implementation of the Community Health Improvement Plan. She also serves as a board member for the American School Health Association.
She has nearly 15 years of experience in project management, qualitative and quantitative research, organizational development and business process improvement. Throughout her career, she has successfully developed partnerships in local, regional and international settings to inform public policy and improve health outcomes. She earned a master of public health degree from the University of Michigan and bachelor of science degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
