Lea Crusey

Currently Chair of the DC Public Charter School Board and CEO of Optimality, I am a cross-sector social entrepreneur, with experience in start-ups, government, and nonprofits that has spanned the country over the past 20 years. I bring that to my work now as an advisor to ventures in social impact sectors and to my public service. Much of my work has been in and around K-12 public education, with some experience in start-ups, public-private partnerships, higher education, education technology, and in early childhood.
