Angie Kirk

Angie Kirk is the Director of Equity and Culture at the state education agency for the District of Columbia- the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE). In this role she drives agency culture and leadership priorities such as diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB), wellness and leadership development. Angie interpreted quantitative and qualitative data to create three signature staff engagements: executive coaching for leaders, staff mentoring in the recovery period and the DEIB education series. In 2022, Angie was recognized by the District with the Innovation Award for her employee wellness initiatives.
Outside of work, Angie loves nature, trying new foods and visiting African-American historical sites. She has a daughter who attends a DC Public School. They are proud residents of Ward 6 in Southwest DC.
