Tynika Aleibar

Dr. Tynika Young-Aleibar is a native Washingtonian, whose passion for education derived from her desire to ensure equity in educational access since she noticed not only the disparity in her own hometown but even in her own household. Tynika has been a teacher and school leader in DCPS schools, and is now the Project Director for the Equity-Centered Pipeline Initiative for DCPS. Tynika holds degrees from Saint Peters University, Columbia University, George Washington University, Georgetown University, and a Doctorate in Education from Drexel University. She resides in DC with her husband and two daughters.
