Greg Moffitt
Greg Moffitt is a dad, husband, former elementary school principal, and forever teacher. Currently the director of School Leader Preparation and Development for the District of Columbia Public Schools, Greg works with aspiring, beginning, and veteran school leaders to foster equity-centered schools. A certified National Mentor Principal and 5-Square Emotional Intelligence Coach, Greg is committed to helping educators grow and lead with impact. After graduating from Brown University with degrees in Education History and Policy, and a Master of Arts in Teaching, Greg moved to Northern California where he lived near his family’s walnut farm and taught in a rural school district. Greg now resides in Washington, D.C. with his wife, their daughter (a DCPS high school student), and the family dog. Greg is a passionate advocate for the transformative power of education and the vital role educators play in shaping a better world.
