Kerry Savage
Kerry serves as the Senior Director of Policy and Advocacy at PAVE and manages the policy and advocacy campaigns on issues that parent leaders identify and collectively drive every year. Kerry spent three years in the classroom with Teach For America and participated in her school's leadership advisory council and vertical curriculum alignment committee. She served as the Secretary of the Charlotte chapter of Habitat for Humanity Young Professionals Executive Board.
Kerry began her policy career as an Urban Leaders Fellow with the Metro Nashville Public Schools Board and Hands on Nashville. While at PAVE, Kerry has participated in the PIE Network’s Leadership Institute and served on the Advisory Group for the MOMENTUM Residency program. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Management and Marketing at the University of South Carolina and earned a certificate in education finance from Georgetown’s McCourt School of Public Policy. Kerry has been a DC resident for 7 years and currently lives in Ward 1.
