Vinu Ilakkuvan

Vinu Ilakkuvan, DrPH, MSPH, is passionate about strengthening community-driven efforts to address the upstream, root drivers of health and health inequity (pophealthllc.com/tedx). She serves as a policy consultant with the Center for Health and Health Care in Schools at George Washington University, where she leads policy focused work of a district-wide school mental health consortium. She is also Founder and Principal Consultant of PoP Health, a public health consulting practice that partners with community coalitions to transform health in their communities through policy and systems change (pophealthllc.com). In both roles, Vinu brings a focus on building community power and ownership.
