I believe that educators have a responsibility to prepare students for a complex global interconnected world. I also believe that educators have a responsibility to leverage their influence to create a more just world by breaking down systemic barriers and dismantling oppressive educational systems through pedagogy and teaching strategies! We must value multiple perspectives, promote equity globally, and value diversity in education - this is why I am an advocate for racial, social and emotional justice!
