Dr. Zainab Okolo

I am compelled to do racial equity and social justice work because I am motivated to create a world and work environment where black women do not have to face the same types of discrimination and strife that I have had to face on my path. I will find my goal to have been “achieved” when in the course of my professional life I have supported the removal of at least one of the key barriers to success. I believe that it is a privilege to be able to think and plan in this way, and will utilize my access and autonomy to work towards this goal.
