Curtis Saxton
Curtis Saxton leads Acelero Learning’s 16 Head Start preschools in the Philadelphia/Camden region, where we strive to eliminate the gaps between our 1900+ students’ inherent potential and their achievement in school and life. A 2023 UCLA Head Start Management Fellow, Curt was previously recognized with a Pennsylvania Equity in Early Childhood Education Award. Earlier in his career, Curt worked in business analytics in a range of companies: startups, consultancies, and school districts. He earned an AB degree in Public Affairs from Princeton University with certificates in Teacher Preparation and American Studies. He also holds an M.Div (Urban Studies concentration) from Westminster Theological Seminary. Curt is a 20-year resident of the Fairhill-Hartranft neighborhood of North Philadelphia, where he and his wife Christina live with their five children. Curt contributes to the community both by supporting Acelero’s transformative PreK programming, and by serving as pastor of a local church.
