Lee Beers
I grew up in Arnold, MD, attended The College of William and Mary, and earned my Medical Degree from Emory University School of Medicine. I completed a pediatric residency at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth VA. Prior to joining Children’s National, I was a general pediatrician at the Naval Hospital in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. Currently, I am an Associate Professor of Pediatrics, the Co-Director of the Early Childhood Innovation Network, the Director of the DC Collaborative for Mental Health in Pediatric Primary Care and past-president of the DC Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. I live in Washington DC, and am married with two children, who both attend DC Public Schools.
