Andrew Plemmons Pratt

Andrew Plemmons Pratt is a Director of School Launch and Incubation at CityBridge Education in Washington, D.C., where he builds programs for education leaders to learn and apply equity-centered design tools to create and transform schools. At CityBridge, he has coached school entrepreneurs on new start charter applications, supported leaders and teacher teams across the district and charter sectors on school redesign, and led the Education Innovation Fellowship. 

Formerly, Andrew worked in school partnerships at New Classrooms; taught 7th-grade English as a Teach For America corps member in Prince George’s County, Maryland; and edited a magazine about science policy at the Center for American Progress. He holds a B.A. in English and American Studies and an M.A. in English, both from the University of Virginia. He and his wife are public school parents to two young kids and live on Capitol Hill.
