Melissa Martin

Melissa has spent 20+ years working to build and support school communities to become more equitable and inclusive spaces where all children are able to thrive. She currently serves as the Deputy Director at Kindred. Prior to joining Kindred, she was the Vice President of Systems Learning at Teach for America where she played a key role in developing and launching a program to support TFA’s leaders to deepen their thinking and practices related to systems change. Melissa has also designed leadership development programming for le aders in Boston and DC. She has worked as the Director of School Partnerships at Flamboyan Foundation and began her career in education as a teacher and leader in the DC Public Schools.
