Brooke Goodwin
Brooke graduated from Columbia University School of Social Work over 20 years ago. Her career began working with disadvantaged youth at Court Appointed Special Advocates of DC and a reunification program for mothers with substance abuse. For the past 15 years, Brooke has worked at Children’s National in various roles. She is currently a Lead Social Worker for an endowed program in the primary care setting focusing on social determinants of health. She also leads the Social Work CEU Program and Co-leads the Community Resource Committee for the Social Work Department. In a previous role she served as an Ombudsman, in the Legal/Risk department, influencing an Ombudsman program redesign and the creation of the Visitor Safety Committee.
