Angel Hunter

Angel Hunter is the Principal of King Elementary School in the District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS). She has been in education for 28 years, beginning her career as a Special Education Teacher in Prince George's County. She has taught the entire continuum of Special Education and has served as an Assistant Principal for two years and a Principal for ten years.

During her tenure at King Elementary, the school has achieved double-digit gains on summative assessments since the pandemic, continuing its steady uphill climb.
