Damali Wilson

Dr. Damali Wilson is a social scientist with an extensive background in research and programming focused on child, youth, and family health, development, and well-being. She has a particular interest in service to vulnerable populations and community-based approaches. In addition, Dr. Wilson is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner of over 10 years. She holds a BS from Hampton University, a MSN from University of Pennsylvania, and a PhD from Johns Hopkins University where her dissertation focused on parenting capacities and early childhood development among multi-generational families in Washington, DC.

Dr. Damali Wilson is Program Lead for Children's National Hospital Child Health Advocacy Institute.
