Katie Donnelly

Katie Donnelly is a pediatric emergency medicine doctor at Children's National and an assistant professor of pediatrics and emergency medicine at The George Washington University. She is the medical director for Safe Kids DC, an organization focused on preventing unintentional injuries in children in the District and surrounding counties. She is also the founder and medical director of the Children's National Hospital-based Youth Violence Intervention Program (CHYVIP). CHYVIP is dedicated to serving adolescent survivors of community violence after an emergency department visit to help ensure safety and healing. Her goal is to create a world where no child is unduly burdened by injury.
